Challenges for LSU
Against Mississippi State, it was a tough opening loss for the Tigers. After the magic of the 2019 Tiger season, not many LSU advocates foresaw a loss in the opening game. Even with most starters now gone it was hard to fathom the Tigers falling. Now LSU heads into what could be a trap game. The Tigers return to Nashville, the place where Joe Burrow tossed six TD passes in 2019 to set a record. But Joe Burrow is no longer wearing the purple and gold.
A lot of folks are pointing fingers at LSU quarterback Myles Brennan but every player and coach on the team shares some responsibility for what happened on Saturday. LSU’s challenge is to forget about 2019 and focus on now, winning now or at least getting better.
Alabama‘s game kicks off at 9 CT (0 ET). Watch on the 0 Network.
