Vanderbilt and Georgia will provide us with our first SEC conference game of the season. This should an exciting game to watch. Georgia, of course, has far more talent than Vandy and has that talent all over the field. That’s what you get when you are the state university of the recruiting hotbed state of Georgia. The Dawgs usually overlook Vanderbilt after they have destroyed Commodores for a couple of years in a row, check that box. Vandy has some outstanding playmakers on offense so the Dores will get some points but it won’t be enough to out-run a top-notch Georgia team.

Note: The Preseason game score prediction and the in-season prediction are all the same this week because the preseason predictions were only made about a week before the season started. In next week’s predictions, you’ll see some differences between the in-season and preseason predictions because we’ll know a lot more about teams after they have played a game.

Our Preseason Prediction

Georgia 38, Vanderbilt 20

In-Season 14Powers.com Prediction

Georgia 38, Vanderbilt 20

Saturday‘s game kicks off at 6:30 PM CT (7:30 PM ET). Watch on the ESPN network.
