Alabama hosts the once-promising Mississippi State Bulldogs. Man, how State’s fortunes have fallen since their opener. This weekend they jump out of the pot and into the frying pan in Tuscaloosa. State is coming off of a bye week so they’ve had some time to regroup and heal. If they have done anything to fix their offense it might give them a chance to at least give Bama a fight. State, statistically, has one of the best defenses in the SEC. Mike Leach likes to pass and Alabama isn’t as strong this season defending the pass. MSU has had of many players quit though. I still think Alabama this handily.
