Challenges for Florida

It seems as if Florida hasn’t played in a game in months but by this Saturday’s game time it really will have just been three weeks since the Gators fell to Texas A&M 41-38. Now the Gators get to host a dangerous Missouri team. A team that has knocked off LSU and Kentucky.

Mizzou has a fine running back in Larry Rountree. In four games this season the 5-foot-10, 210-pound Rountree has run for just under 100 yards per game on average. Last week against Kentucky Rountree exploded for 126 yards on 37 carries for two touchdowns. Rountree didn’t have any runs over 20 yards. He just hammered the Kentucky defense and wore it down. Florida can’t afford to let Rountree get going on extended drives because once he does it’ll be hard to stop him and the Tigers.
