Challenges for Vanderbilt
It’s been brutal the last couple of games for Vanderbilt. The Commodores have to figure out something on offense. They are averaging less than nine points per contest. Vanderbilt either needs to simplify their offense or put more bells and whistles into it. It seems like every other team in the SEC is improving except for Vanderbilt and Mississippi State but at least State has one in the win column. Missouri beat a team on Saturday in Columbia which beat Vandy 41-7 in Nashville (uh, that was LSU, not South Carolina). It’s pitiful that we have to specify which 41-7 Vandy loss we mean. Vanderbilt started playing football in 1890. The Commodores have had many rough years but they’ve always managed to win at least one ball game. The Commodores’ challenge is to not end that streak in 2020.
