Challenges for Texas A&M
It looks like there is a lot of parity in the SEC West. Alabama and Texas A&M at first glance, appear to be the two teams vying for a championship game berth. Yes, A&M does have a loss already but Alabama with its shaky defense may go down somewhere along the way. Unfortunately, though, A&M has lost to Bama already which means if the Tide were to lose one more game and the Aggies won out, Alabama would still make the SEC Championship game. All the Aggies can do is play their best ball and hope Bama slips twice, which is unlikely to happen. This weekend the Aggies get Mississippi State in Starkville. In shocking LSU, we thought that Mike Leach had performed a miracle in transferring his wide-open passing offense from Washington State to Mississippi State. However, State has since lost twice in a row and on Saturday in Lexington, the Bulldogs never managed one even one offensive score. If you are A&M you do whatever Kentucky did against Mississippi State defensively.
