Challenges for Ole Miss
Two teams that lost tough games in SEC week 1 meet in Lexington. Kentucky disappointed a lot of folks who thought the Wildcats could contend for one of the top three positions in the SEC East. Losing at Auburn is nothing to be ashamed of though. Ole Miss surprised many college football observers with how well the Rebels did offensively against a very good Florida defense. However, Ole Miss defensively allowed Florida to set a school record for total yards against an SEC opponent as it piled up 642 yards including 446 passing and 196 rushing yards. For the Rebels to win in Lexington they’ve got to get better on defense.. a lot better.
Mississippi State‘s game kicks off at 6 CT (0 ET). Watch on the SEC Network.
