LSU pulls off a huge victory in Tuscaloosa. The Tiger’s are now in the driver’s seat for a CFP bid.

Tide stunned at home by LSU. Bama still has a shot at making the playoff if they win out.

Georgia’s ferocious defense gets its second shutout over an SEC opponent. Georgia also still has a shot at making the CFP if they can win out.

7-2, 4-2 SEC

Auburn had a bye week after beating Ole Miss on Nov. 2. The Tigers will collide with Georgia this week in Auburn.

Florida pounds Vandy 56-0. The Gators along with Auburn are probably out of the playoff picture but can still earn a New Year’s Bowl bid.

Texas A&M is coming off a bye week. They’ll host Ole Miss this week and try to improve their bowl prospects.

What in the world has happened to Missouri? They’ve lost three straight since beating Ole Miss on Oct. 12.

tennessee

5-5, 3-3 SEC

Tennessee has now won three straight and will probably earn a bowl bid. They’ll visit Missouri this weekend.

4-6, 3-4 SEC

South suffers a death blow to their bowl hopes. The Gamecocks must now win out to make a bowl. That stretch includes Clemson.

4-6, 2-4 SEC

Ole Miss downs New Mexico State 41-3. However, narrow losses to Memphis, Cal, A&M and Auburn will mean the Rebels will likely stay at home during the bowl season.

mississippi state

4-5, 2-4 SEC

The Bulldogs had a bye week. They’ll visit Bama this weekend. MSU still could make a bowl with Abilene Christian and a home game with Ole Miss coming up.

kentucky

4-5, 2-5 SEC

Kentucky fails to score in the final moments against Tennessee and loses. The choice of Mark Stoops to punt instead of going for a first down late in the 1st half will haunt the Wildcat nation.

2-7, 1-5 SEC

Vanderbilt is blasted by Florida 56-0. The Commodores can now only hope to avoid finishing with the worst record in the SEC. Kentucky in Nashville is next.

2-8, 0-6 SEC

Arkansas is pummeled at home by Western Kentucky. Chad Morris, a good man, is leaving the Arkansas administration with little reason to keep him.
