South Carolina knocks out Georgia in Athens. Tennessee and Kentucky both get their first conference wins of the season. LSU and Bama continue to roll. Here’s this week’s SEC Football Power Poll.

Alabama continues to roll, this time at Texas A&M. A 47-28 win.

LSU takes care of business by handling a dangerous Florida team 42-28.

Florida played well at LSU. The game was much closer than the final score indicated.

5-1, 21 SEC

Georgia stunned by South Carolina 20-17 in Athens. Dawgs made the fatal mistake of over looking an injury depleted Gamecocks’ squad. Georgia’s not out of the NC hunt yet.

5-1, 2-1 SEC

Auburn had a bye week. The Tigers will visit an improving Arkansas team this weekend.

5-1, 2-0 SEC

Mizzou may very well be the East team playing in SEC Championship game. The Tigers are scary good. They have scored 30 points or more in the first half in five of six games. The Tigers also can defend.

3-3, 1-2 SEC

A&M fought gallantly at home against the Tide to no avail. The Aggies visit Ole Miss this weekend.

The Gamecocks pulled off a historic win in Athens. Will Muschamp beats his own school and gets a much cooler seat for now.

3-4, 2-2 SEC

Ole Miss is Mizzou’s latest victim. The Rebs may have the weapons to beat A&M this weekend.

3-3, 1-2 SEC

Mississippi State gets a bloody nose in Knoxville, losing 20-10 to Tennessee. Joe Moorhead is feeling the heat right now.

3-3, 1-3 SEC

In a rough season, Kentucky defends its home turf, rallying from a double-digit deficit to defeat the Hogs.

2-4, 1-2 SEC

Tennessee gets big win at home. Jeremy Pruitt gets some relief for a few days. Things will likely get back to normal this weekend at Alabama.

Arkansas looks improved but it doesn’t show much in the Razorback’s record. Next up is Auburn.

Vandy is in dire straights. The Commodores were blasted at home by a 1-win UNLV team, 34-10. Derek Mason has to work some late season magic or he’ll be job hunting after the season.
