Florida’s win over Auburn headlines this week’s SEC football games. However, the Gators have much rougher waters ahead. Here is this week’s SEC Football Power Poll.

Alabama had a bye week. The Tide hosts Tennessee on Saturday in Tuscaloosa.

5-0, 2-0 SEC

Georgia took care of business at Tennessee winning 43-14. The Bulldogs continue to impress on both sides of the ball.

5-0, 1-0 SEC

LSU dominates Utah State 42-6 in Baton Rouge. The Tigers continue to destroy opponents but meetings with Florida (this weekend), Auburn and Alabama loom ahead.

Florida gets a huge home win over Auburn. This week it could be tougher as they play at LSU.

The Tigers finally meet their match in Gainesville falling 24-13 to the Gators. Auburn can still is not out of it. If they win out and get to the SEC Championship Game anything can happen.

Mizzou gets the easy home win over Troy. The Tigers will play 7 straight conference games to finish the regular season starting with Ole Miss this weekend in Columbia.

State had a much needed bye week. They’ll visit Tennessee this weekend.

The Aggies had a bye week. They’ll host Alabama on Saturday in College Station. Can the Aggies pull off the huge upset?

3-3, 2-1 SEC

Ole Miss dominated Vandy in Oxford 31-6. Freshman QB John Rhys Plumlee is proof that sometimes injuries can help teams. Plumlee took over after Matt Corral was injured a week ago and has been phenomenal.

2-3, 1-2 SEC

The Gamecocks also had bye week. They get to visit rival Georgia this weekend.

The Wildcats are another team that had a bye week. The Cats probably needed it in the worse way with all their injured quarterbacks. A home game with Arkansas should give us a good indication of how far the Cats have fallen.

Arkansas had a bye week. They might be able to steal a win at Kentucky this week.

Vandy is looking pretty poor on both sides of the ball. The Commodores’ line play on both sides of the ball has regressed since 2016.

Tennessee lost the game to Georgia but may have found themselves a QB in Brian Maurer who threw for over 250 yards and 2 TDs.
