Challenges for Kentucky

Kentucky desperately needs a win. For the second straight week, the Wildcats hit the road to face an SEC opponent. UK has got to get better production out of QB Sawyer Smith. Smith went 15-for-41 for 232 yards, no touchdowns and an interception. Smith was also sacked three times. The Wildcat’s challenge is to get Smith in a position where he can be more successful. Block better for him, and that includes everyone, not just the line. Receivers also need to go to the ball instead of expecting perfectly thrown passes to hit them in the hands. This is a game Kentucky can win but playing in Columbia, SC it won’t be easy to win.

Saturday‘s game kicks off at 6:30 PM CT (7:30 PM ET). Watch on the SEC Network.
