Challenges for Missouri
This is another of the 3 SEC games this weekend involving teams of similar conference stature. South Carolina is kind of in a similar situation as Vandy with two of three fairly tough games to start the season. They are likely better than their 1-2 record indicates. Gamecock quarterback Ryan Hilinski took over during the Charleston Southern game for Jake Bentley. He’s responded well completing 69% of his passes for 606 yards, 4 TDs and 2 interceptions. Running back Rico Dowdle is the Gamecock’s top rusher with 251 yards and 2 TDs. DL Javon Kinlaw has nine tackles, 3 sacks and 1 quarterback hurry this season. This should be a great game to watch and could go either way.
