Challenges for Ole Miss
This is an important conference game for two teams that aren’t expected to contend for titles. Ole Miss struggled to beat FCS Portland State on Saturday. However, the Hogs did some good things, at least statistically. In Rakeem Boyd, Arkansas had a running back go for over 100 yards. Starting QB Ben Hicks wasn’t sensational but he didn’t throw an interception and efficiently led the hog offense which gained 26 first downs. You have to consider that Arkansas may have been withholding some of their offensive stuff in order to save it for Ole Miss. This is a game Ole Miss should and needs to win. The Rebels offense struggled scoring at Memphis and that needs to be addressed this week.
