Challenges for Kentucky Football
Kentucky football’s second opponent of the season is Eastern Michigan, of the MAC Conference. Last week EMU opened with a 30-23 win over Coastal Carolina. In that game, the Eagles outscored Coastal 16-0 in the second quarter to lock up the win. EMU QB Mike Glass completed an impressive 20-of-22 passes for 188 yards, 3 touchdowns and no interceptions. Running back Shaq Vann ran for another 108 yards. The Kentucky Wildcats should win this game because they have much better talent than EMU. However, what they can’t afford to do is overlook Eastern Michigan. In the Auburn-Tulane preview, I also mentioned the importance of taking Tulane seriously. EMU is possibly of the same caliber of Tulane. The difference is that UK is not coming off a very emotional win, like Auburn’s.
Saturday‘s game kicks off at 6:30 PM CT (7:30 PM ET). Watch on the Network.
