Challenges for Arkansas

This is an important game for Arkansas and Ole Miss. Each team needs this game in order to slip into a bowl game. Ole Miss probably needs this more because they dropped a non-conference game to Memphis. Arkansas, despite winning, looked sloppy in their opening 20-13 win over FCS opponent Portland State. That unimpressive win may have the hog fans and administrators wondering if Chad Morris is going to be able to turn the program around. It’s going to tough to beat Ole Miss in Oxford. The Rebels played solid defense against Memphis in their opener. Ole Miss likely will win this game but they need to get their offense going. New QB Matt Corral completed just 9-of-19 passes for 93 yards and an interception. He was sacked three times. Memphis had 9 more first downs (22-13) than Ole Miss in this game.
