Challenges for Florida
This will be the first time since 2013 that Florida has faced Miami. Historically, Miami has dominated its series against the other Florida schools leading 33-2. The Gators can’t afford to get caught up in the moment. Miami has six starters back on both offense and defense. The ‘Canes will be breaking in a new QB, redshirt freshman Jarren Williams. If the Gators can get solid pressure on the young signal-caller it could be a very long day for Miami. It’s hard to picture Dan Mullen’s team not being prepared for this game. However, it is possible to foresee rookie head coach Manny Diaz’s squad having some issues and the Gators have to cause those issues.
Saturday‘s game kicks off at 6:00 PM CT (7:00 PM ET). Watch on the ESPN network.
