Challenges for LSU

LSU and Florida both have very healthy turnover ratios. The team that loses the turnover battle in this game likely loses the game as well. Ben Hill Griffin Stadium is a hostile environment, just like Death Valley. LSU must duplicate their recipe for success in earlier wins over Miami in Arlington and at Auburn.

Challenges for Florida

This game is going to be a matchup between a proven successful head coach in Dan Mullen and Ed Orgeron, who has done well of late but many still question his fitness as a head coach due to his stint at Ole Miss. LSU has a very good defense, allowing only 14 points a contest on average. The last time the Gators played a team with a strong defense (Kentucky), they lost.

Saturday’s game kicks off at 2:30 pm CT (3:30 ET) and can be seen on CBS.
