Challenges for Ole Miss

The Rebels will be facing the best team in the nation. You may think that Ole Miss would be the better passing team in this game but Alabama had six touchdown passes in its win over Arkansas State – four by Tua Tagovailoa and two by Jalen Hurts. Alabama is also a juggernaut on the road winning 77 percent of its road games under Nick Saban. Alabama is the full package, great defense, great offense and solid special teams.

Challenges for Alabama

The Crimson Tide’s vaunted defense tangles with a very explosive Ole Miss offense – on the road. Rebel quarterback Jordan Ta’amu leads the SEC and is ranked second nationally with 392.0 yards passing per game. The Rebels are certainly no pushover at home, especially in September. Ole Miss is 103-32-3 (76 percent) in September home games. PS All-America wide receiver A.J. Brown ranks eighth nationally in receiving TDs (3) and receiving yards per game (125.5).

Saturday’s game kicks off at 6:00 pm CT and can be seen on ESPN.
