Challenges for Arkansas
Ole Miss is a team that relies heavily on the run. They average just under 260 yards rushing a game which is third best nationally. If you can run well, it does make sense to use focus on the run game. There’s only three things that can happen when you throw the ball and two of them aren’t good. Incompletions, where you get nothing on that down or interceptions are drive killers. Ole Miss does have a solid passing game. Quarterback Jaxson Dart, a transfer from USC, has 2,123 yards passing so far this season. He’s completed 150 of 247 (60.7%) passes for 15 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He’s just a sophomore and will only get better.
Saturday‘s game kicks off at 6:30 PM CT (7:30 PM ET). Watch this SEC football game on the SEC Network.
