Challenges for LSU

UAB comes to Baton Rouge with a 5-5 record. All five of UAB’s losses have been by a touchdown or less. All five of the Blazer’s wins have been by double-digit margins. Running the ball is the primary goal of the UAB offense. The Blazers are ranked sixth nationally in rushing yards (247.1) per game. Running back DeWayne McBride has over 1,400 yards rushing for 17 touchdowns. UAB’s quarterback is Dylan Hopkins. So far this season he’s completed 99 of 148 passes for 1,467 yards, two interceptions, and eight touchdowns.
