Another solid week only blighted by the mystifying performance of South Carolina against Mizzou. This week we sit back and watch the newest “Game of the Century.” Should be fun.

Closest Pick: Ole Miss 31, Texas A&M 21. The actual was Ole Miss 31, Texas A&M 21. Just a touchdown out here which is solid.
Worst Pick: South Carolina 31, Mizzou 21. The actual was Mizzou 23, South Carolina 10. Weird game for the Gamecock offense to completely disappear.
Season Results: 65-13 (83.3%). Last week was 83.6%
Byes – Ole Miss
Kentucky @ Mizzou – These two were part of the most surprising games in the SEC last weekend. I didn’t expect Mizzou to beat South Carolina, but perhaps even more shocking was how Kentucky was routed 44-6 by Tennessee. This should be a defensive battle – despite that Vols eruption in Knoxville – and I expect Kentucky to come out on top. Kentucky 24, South Carolina 14.
Florida @ Texas A&M – Connor Weigman was great in his first start for Texas A&M last week. The issue here is that they just gave up almost 400 yards on the ground to Ole Miss, and they now face a Florida rushing attack featuring three of the top eight rushers in yards per carry in the SEC. The defense won’t hold up. Florida 35, Texas A&M 24.
(2) Tennessee @ (1) Georgia – There is no way this won’t be fun. Tennessee averages almost 50 points per game and Hendon Hooker is playing at a level few expected he could reach. Georgia allows just 10.5 points per game and average almost 42 points per game. Tennessee needs to make this like the ‘Bama game. They need to tempo Georgia – an incredibly difficult ask – and make this a shootout where the last team with the ball wins. Any other pattern of play ends with a Georgia win. Oregon – who are better now than they were in the opener – is the only ranked team Georgia has faced. I think that is a factor here. Tennessee 42, Georgia 38.
(23) Liberty @ Arkansas – Liberty is no joke. Their 41-14 win over BYU shows where the team is and Hugh Freeze is a coach with plenty of SEC experience. Arkansas, however has the offense humming after scoring 93 points in their last two games. I like them here in a shootout. Arkansas 45, Liberty 28.
(6) Alabama @ (15) LSU – This might seem crazy but if LSU can stay with ‘Bama into the fourth quarter than I think they can steal this. Quarterback Jayden Daniels is as hot as any in the country outside of Hendon Hooker – he has 11 touchdown contributions in his last two games – and he is a player that makes the big plays down the stretch. Add in that this is night game in Baton Rouge and it feels like there is something in the water. LSU 42, Alabama 35.
Auburn @ Mississippi State – I like the Bulldogs here purely because they are a much better team at home than they are on the road. Expect Auburn to come out running the ball under interim head coach Carnell Williams, but this is a game where Will ogers gets his groove back after Alabama tackled everything that moved last time out. Mississippi State 35, Auburn 28.
South Carolina @ Vanderbilt – This is a different game if Vanderbilt quarterback AJ Swann can return after exiting injured in the third quarter of the ‘Dores game against Mizzou on October 22. It seems he is trending that way and given South Carolina’s awful showing on offense in their own game against Mizzou this past weekend, this should be tight. South Carolina 27, Vanderbilt 21.
