Challenges for Arkansas

Everyone knows about Mike Leach’s high-powered passing attacks. In seasons past the Bulldogs might average 40 or 50 yards rushing and 400 yards passing a game. This season that rushing average is approaching 100 yards per contest. One Saturday against Texas A&M the Bulldogs piled up an unheard of 144 yards on the ground. That diversity helped propel Mississippi State to a sparkling 42-24 win over the Aggies. A big reason for the Bulldogs’s ground success is running back Dillon Johnson. So far this season Dillon has over 300 yards rushing while averaging over six yards per carry. Against Mississippi State stopping the pass will be first priority for the Razorbacks. However, they must also contain Dillon and keep the Bulldog’s new rushing threat under control.

Saturday‘s game kicks off at 11:00 AM CT (12:00 PM ET). Watch this SEC football game on the SEC Network.
