Challenges for LSU
LSU’s challenge is to stop Mike Leach’s prolific Mississippi State passing offense. Quarterback Will Rogers leads the Bulldog offense. So far this season Rogers has completed 77 of 98 passes for 763 yards, nine touchdowns, and just two interceptions. Six different Bulldogs have caught a touchdown this season. Rogers’ top target is wide receiver Dillon Johnson who has 12 catches for 73 yards. State has four different players with double digit receptions this season. Stopping the Leach offense is going to take a team effort.
