Challenges for Vanderbilt

Vanderbilt suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday in a 45-25 home loss to Wake Forest. The Commodore’s challenge is to put the loss behind them and correct the things that hurt them against Wake in practice. Huskies quarterback Rocky Lombardi appears to be a solid player. In two games he’s completed 32 of 53 (60.4%) passes for 451 yards and four touchdowns.

According to the ranking and rating services, Vandy and NIU are about equal. Vanderbilt can’t afford to take the Huskies lightly.
