Challenges for Vanderbilt

The change in time zone will certainly be a challenge. The Vandy team left almost a week early to mitigate the change in time zone. The game will start at 9:30 pm ET which means the fourth quarter will begin at about 11:45 pm ET. Vandy has little to go on as far as scouting reports of Hawai’i. Vanderbilt may overlook the Rainbow Warriors. Of course in an opener that should never happen. However, Hawai’i has been somewhat portrayed by media and fan discussion as a terrible football team. In truth, this team won six games last season. They beat a Fresno State team that won 10 games and beat UCLA in Pasadena. Vandy can’t afford to overlook any of its opponents.

Saturday‘s game kicks off at 9:30 PM CT (10:30 PM ET). Watch this SEC football game on the CBSSN Network.
