When I was setting up this preview I found myself looking for a “Clemson” category to set for this posting. Well, we don’t have a Clemson category, we only have categories set for SEC teams because we are an SEC sports news publication. It got me thinking though, why not get Clemson to join the SEC? For that matter, why not Clemson and North Carolina or NC State? That would give the SEC a firm footing in the southeastern Atlantic coastal states and also help boost those programs. Anyway, back to this week’s game. Clemson at South Carolina. Clemson got off to a slow start and folks were talking about how bad they had gotten but Clemson is still a top 20 team and might end up with 10 wins if they can beat USC on Saturday and win a bowl game. This one’s hard to predict because South Carolina has been so Helter Skelter this season. However, South Carolina is noticeably much better at home so I’m going with the Gamecocks in a close one.
