Challenges for South Carolina
This Clemson team hasn’t been its normal self this season. However, keep in mind the Tigers gave Georgia its best fight of the season so far. Clemson has the normal strong defense allowing 16.4 points per game which is even better than last season’s 20.2 points per contest allowed. Where they have dropped off is on offense. Last season the Tigers scored an average of 43.5 points per game but this season that is down to 26.5 ppg. The Gamecock’s challenge for this game is to score over 30 points. If they can do that they have a solid shot of picking up a big win over their in-state rivals.
