Challenges for Mississippi State
The challenge for State is to not overlook 5-5 Tennessee State. While the Bulldogs are a passing machine, the Tigers are pretty good at limiting passers. They are No. 14 nationally in the FCS and No. 1 in the Ohio Valley Conference in passing defense. Geremy Hickbottom has been pretty solid at quarterback for the Tigers. He’s passed for 1,816 yards and 12 touchdowns with just four interceptions. He’s a running threat too with 1,594 career rushing yards at TSU for 23 touchdowns.
Saturday‘s game kicks off at 11:00 AM CT (12:00 PM ET). You can watch this SEC football game on the SEC Network + | ESPN+ Network.
