Challenges for Auburn

Mississippi State has a prolific passing offense that, unlike other passing offenses, eats up the clock in a similar manner as the option offenses used by the service academies. State quarterback Will Rogers is completing a national-best 75 percent of his passes. This season Rogers has completed 363 of 483 passes for 3,307 yards 23 touchdowns and eight interceptions. The Bulldogs also have a solid rushing defense that limits opponents to about 100 yards a game. Auburn has to limit Roger’s success while having some offensive success themselves or the Tiger defense could be on the field way too long and that is not good.

Saturday‘s game kicks off at 11:00 AM CT (12:00 PM ET). You can watch this SEC football game on the ESPN Network.
