Challenges for Mississippi State
Auburn has a stout defense and a solid offense. The Bulldogs must continue winning the time of possession game (34:55) game in order to limit Bo Nix and the Auburn offense’s opportunities to score. Keeping control of the ball also keeps the crowd out of the game which helps stifle the momentum of your opponent. This is a good matchup for the Bulldogs. Because of their strong rushing defense, State should be able to force Auburn into lots of passing situations.
