Challenges for Vanderbilt
It’s been a miserable season for Vanderbilt under first-year head coach Clark Lea. The Commodores have three games remaining this season. Kentucky may offer the best chance of winning a game of the three. Vanderbilt’s got to win or at least compete in the running game on both sides of the ball. On offense, they need to run for about 30 more yards than they average and on defense, the Commodores need to hold Kentucky to fewer than 150 yards. That will be tough to do with one of the best runners in the SEC in the game, Christopher Rodriguez Jr., but it’s not impossible.
Saturday‘s game kicks off at 6:00 PM CT (7:00 PM ET). You can watch this SEC football game on the ESPN2 Network.
