Challenges for South Carolina
It’s been a rough season so far for Vanderbilt and first-year head coach Clark Lea. Lea his crew have given up over 100 points combined in their first two SEC ball games. South Carolina has done better but they can’t sleep on Vandy. The Commodores may appear pitiful but on Saturday in Gainesville despite the 42-0 final score the Commodores battled from start to finish. Vanderbilt matched the Gators in first downs 18-18. The Commodores limited the Gators to 2 of 9 third-down conversions while converting 8 of 20 of their own. Vandy had three missed field goals and a touchdown pass called back that probably shouldn’t have been. Take Vandy seriously or you might regret it.
Saturday‘s game kicks off at 3:00 PM CT (4:00 PM ET). You can watch this SEC football game on the SEC Network.
