Challenges for Vanderbilt

Vanderbilt visits a South Carolina program that has dominated the Commodores since joining the SEC in 1992 winning 26 of 30 games. The 2021 version of the Gamecocks looks a little down after the losses of personnel following a coaching change in 2020. However, Vanderbilt has struggled mightily against SEC competition this season being outscored 104-0 in two conference games. Vanderbilt’s challenge is to score points. They missed three field goals in the recent loss to Florida. They also had a touchdown taken off the scoreboard after a review. Overall, in 15 trips to the RedZone this season, Vandy has managed only three touchdowns. Vandy also needs to get in the RedZone more. You can’t win if you can’t score.

Saturday‘s game kicks off at 3:00 PM CT (4:00 PM ET). You can watch this SEC football game on the SEC Network.
