Challenges for Vanderbilt

Vandy showed some improvement in their last-second win over Connecticut. The Commodores can’t become Alabama or Georgia overnight. However, if they keep improving game by game they’ll eventually get to where they can play other SEC teams more closely. The next step after that will be beating other SEC squads. No one is saying Vandy can’t get an SEC win this season. The ‘Dores probably won’t win this game but if they can keep it close with the Gators, hey, anything can happen. Especially when you have a solid kicker.

Saturday‘s game kicks off at 11:00 AM CT (12:00 PM ET). You can watch this SEC football game on the SEC Network.

  1. Now the Gators can lose to Vandy. As a reward for waiting patiently for “his turn”, Coach Mullen insists on sticking with a quarterback that’s so pathetic that he does the same thing all game long that doesn’t work. Every run play, he hesitates in a stupid attempt to fool the defense while they surround him. His ridiculous fakes make the offense look like slow motion while the defense rushes in. His passes are either totally off the mark or to the other team. All the while, they stick with him while a true phenom freshman is on the sidelines. Great coaches like Steve Spurrier and Nick Saban CHANGE quarterbacks when one is totally ineffective. THAT’S WHY THEY WIN!
