Challenges for Texas A&M
A&M lost a very good starting quarterback in Haynes King just three games into the season. However, the new quarterback, Zach Calzado is better than most FBS signal-callers. So far this season Calzado has completed 81 of 152 passes for five touchdowns and four interceptions. In his most recent game against a Mississippi State team with a decent defense, Calzado seemed improved completing 12 of 20 passes for a touchdown and an interception. For the Aggies to have a shot at beating the Crimson Tide they need for Calzado to play even better.
Saturday‘s game kicks off at 7:00 PM CT (8:00 PM ET). You can watch this SEC football game on the CBS Network.
