ETSU vs. Vanderbilt Football Series History

Vanderbilt leads 1-0

Comments

Vanderbilt opens its 2021 season against East Tennessee State. The Commodores have a solid chance to get a win in the first game after going 0-9 a season ago in an all conference slate. Despite a coaching change, the Commodores have 17 starters back, 9 on offense and 8 on defense. ETSU finished their spring season at 4-2. They are expected to contend for the Southern Conference title. RB Quay Holmes is the Buc’s biggest threat on offense. He rushed for 1,300 yards last season. This may be a tight game but I think Vandy will win comfortably.
