Vanderbilt-Texas A&M Prediction
At an earlier point in this season, Vanderbilt at Texas A&M might have been a game the Commodores would feel very good about. A&M lost at home to Missouri by 23 points earlier this season, scoring only 43 against the Tigers. That is a team Vanderbilt could have beaten. However, A&M has overcome that dark night of the soul and has performed at a much higher level in recent weeks. The Aggies have developed the kind of momentum which could carry into next November, the kind of momentum which has eluded Vanderbilt and Bryce Drew. A month ago, this would have been a good spot for Vanderbilt. Now, it doesn’t look like a good time for VU at all. Texas A&M won’t play postseason basketball once the SEC Tournament ends, but it is playing with hunger and cohesion. That should be more than enough against the Commodores. Texas A&M 70, Vanderbilt 60. (Matt Zemek)
