Texas A&M-Florida Prediction

The Texas A&M Aggies – when they beat Alabama over a week ago – offered a brief glimpse of their potential and kept alive the hope that they could grow into something better as the season moved along. Those hopes were doused by the worst SEC game any member team has played this season, a 66-43 disaster at home against a Missouri squad which is very clearly one of the less talented teams in the conference. A&M’s performance was the equivalent of falling out of bed and not getting off the ground for a few hours. The Aggies will try to respond to that embarrassment with an inspired effort at Florida, where the Gators are making slight but real improvements. UF almost won at Mississippi State and then handled Georgia on the road. The Gators should roll here. Florida 77, A&M 64. (Matt Zemek)
