Tennessee-Ole Miss Prediction
The Tennessee Volunteers have been roughed up by Kentucky and gut-punched by LSU. They suffered a loss in which they were rarely competitive in Rupp Arena. This past Saturday, they suffered a loss in which they took a bad shot with five seconds left in overtime and then committed a very dumb foul. Tennessee lost tough games in two very different ways. Now we will see how the Vols respond. Going to Ole Miss to face the (likely) tournament-bound Rebels is no easy assignment, but if the Vols want to be remembered as a great team, they know they need to win a share of the SEC championship. Losing in Oxford won’t end that dream, but it will certainly hurt the Vols’ chances. The veteran leadership in the locker room needs to emerge. I think it will. Tennessee 74, Ole Miss 70. (Matt Zemek)
