Tennessee-Auburn Prediction

Tennessee and Auburn shared the 2018 SEC basketball championship. One team backed up the 2018 season with an even stronger 2019 season. The other team is Auburn, which will make the NCAA Tournament but came nowhere close to competing for the SEC title. This game figured to have SEC title implications, and it will, but only the Vols are chasing the No. 1 seed in the SEC Tournament. Auburn has played better of late, winning road games at Georgia and Alabama. The Tigers are regularly tough at home, so this game figures to be a considerable challenge for Tennessee. However, the Vols have seemingly straightened themselves out since their loss at LSU. They thumped Kentucky and then rolled past Mississippi State. Tennessee’s ability to get back on the beam makes the Vols the slightly better choice here, though an Auburn win would not be terribly surprising. Tennessee 71, Auburn 68.

This game tips off at 11:00 AM CT (12:00 PM ET). TV: ESPN.
