South Carolina-Texas A&M Prediction
South Carolina has fully and clearly removed itself from bubble conversations. Their current losing streak has moved the Gamecocks into a five-way tie for fourth place in the conference. South Carolina must win the SEC Tournament to make the NCAA Tournament, so the Gamecocks badly need to get the No. 4 seed. That would enable them to get a double-bye into the quarterfinals, requiring them to win only three games, not four, to make March Madness. South Carolina has to find some inspiration at Texas A&M. The Aggies have a chance to avoid playing on Wednesday at the SEC Tournament next week. They are tied with Arkansas for tenth in the conference. The No. 11 team in the league has to play on Wednesday. Given everything we have seen from these two teams the past 10 days, A&M has to be the choice. Texas A&M 68, South Carolina 65. (Matt Zemek)
