Missouri-Texas A&M Prediction

If you were to identify the four teams likely to play on Wednesday at the SEC Tournament – one of the saddest days of the year in hoops – Missouri and Texas A&M would be part of that quartet, forced to play before the rest of the league swings into action on Thursday or Friday. Missouri is a toothless team without Jontay Porter, the star who would have been able to knit together the supporting cast and provide big baskets when the team needed them. Missouri has no special scorer on its roster, and not nearly enough jump shooting quality to offset Porter’s absence. It is already time to acknowledge this season is lost for Mizzou. The Tigers face a Texas A&M team which lost its dynamic frontcourt from last season and has predictably struggled. A&M did win at Alabama, however. The Aggies are more talented than the Tigers. Texas A&M 73, Missouri 68. (Matt Zemek)
