LSU-Texas A&M Prediction
The LSU Tigers just can’t lose right now. They tried on Saturday, falling behind Missouri by 14 with just over 2:10 left. Then Skylar Mays got really hot, Missouri got really nervous with the ball against LSU’s pressure, and a few crash-bang plays in the final minutes broke favorably for the Bayou Bengals. The big question is if that kind of escape will create a feeling of invincibility which leads to a complacent performance against a lower-tier SEC team, or if it sharpens this LSU team and causes it to become even more focused. That is the challenge for Will Wade: to make sure that this run of success leads to better habits and improved maturity, instead of leading to premature satisfaction before the SEC schedule gets tougher. This game is up for grabs, but LSU will probably make key plays late. LSU 75, A&M 72. (Matt Zemek)
