LSU-Florida Prediction
In 2006, LSU and Florida both made the Final Four, with Florida winning the national championship. Yet, when the Tigers and Gators played that season, no one was saying how monumental a game that was. This game might be the biggest Florida-LSU men’s basketball game of all time. It is a debatable point, but it is a claim one can’t easily shrug off, either. LSU is playing for a No. 1 seed at the SEC Tournament and a share or outright championship. LSU is also playing for NCAA Tournament seeding. This is huge for the Tigers. The Gators are playing to get into the NCAA Tournament. They probably would have been playing for seeding had they beaten Georgia, but after blowing that game, they are on the bubble again and need a quality win to relieve stress on Selection Sunday. This is a 50-50 game. Florida 67, LSU 66. (Matt Zemek)
This game tips off at 6:00 PM CT (7:00 PM ET). TV: ESPN2.
