Kentucky-Ole Miss Prediction
Every game in March is important, but this one is especially important for both teams. Kentucky is trying to get a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. It will very likely need to win this game if it expects to get a top seed. If Kentucky doesn’t win this game, it will have to win the SEC Tournament to get a 1 seed. UK also needs to show it can play well without Reid Travis, whose absence was acutely felt in the loss to Tennessee. Ole Miss needs this game to lock up an NCAA Tournament bid. The Rebels are still in good shape, but they left themselves in a slight bit of jeopardy due to their loss to Arkansas. One win over Kentucky would fully seal a bid. Ole Miss isn’t a lock, so the Rebels have a little more work to do. Kentucky will bounce back. It usually does. Kentucky 67, Ole Miss 65. (Matt Zemek)
