Kentucky-Missouri Prediction

HARRUMPH! You could hear Kentucky clear its collective throat and shout down the Tennessee Volunteers this past Saturday. It’s true that UK needed that win a lot more than Tennessee did, given the fact that the Wildcats’ loss to LSU put them two games back in the league standings. Nevertheless, Big Blue handed down a major smackdown to the Vols, announcing itself as a team which can be frighteningly difficult to play when it is fully locked in. That performance reminded each and every Wildcat player what he is capable of. It certainly bodes well for the future, even though it doesn’t guarantee much beyond the simple ability to stay in contention for big prizes. It is hard to imagine Kentucky playing poorly enough against Missouri to give the undermanned Tigers a genuine chance of winning this game. Don’t expect a letdown here. Kentucky 73, Missouri 58.
