Georgia-Texas A&M Prediction

Georgia might have landed top prospect Anthony Edwards, but that won’t save the Dawgs this season. They are on their own, and after Crean’s ill-chosen words this past Saturday, Crean might be on his own more than he realizes. It’s hard to see how UGA’s players will respond positively to Crean’s comments, in which he blamed himself for keeping his first-year roster of players inherited from Mark Fox. If Crean was trying to make a point, he didn’t make it artfully. Now Georgia is in a position where players are likely to tune out their coach for most of the rest of the season. Expect multiple transfers out of the program after the season is over. Georgia might be pulling in strong recruits for next season, but this next month figures to be miserable for the Dawgs. Texas A&M 70, Georgia 64. (Matt Zemek)
