Georgia-Auburn Prediction

This game comes down to a very simple question: Is Georgia good enough to go into Auburn and push the Tigers to 0-2 in the SEC? Auburn’s loss at Ole Miss was a rusty performance. The Tigers sat around for a week and a half without any game activity. This was their first game of 2019. Their most recent game had been Dec. 29, a cupcake game against North Florida. Auburn hadn’t played a challenging game since the days before Christmas at North Carolina State, and it looked awful then. The Tigers know they need to get going if they want to have any chance of keeping pace with Tennessee, the unquestioned favorite in the conference. Georgia has to play a special game to win in Auburn under these circumstances. Don’t expect it. Auburn 83, Georgia 71. (Matt Zemek)
