Florida-TCU Prediction
The Florida Gators are treading water, beating inferior teams but not winning games against superior teams. That will have to change soon if the Gators are to make a real run at the NCAA Tournament. They get a chance to do just that on Saturday, when they visit the TCU Horned Frogs. TCU has struggled in the Big 12, but it gained a crucial win against Texas earlier this week to improve its own March prospects. The Big 12 stacks up well in the computer ratings and analytical indexes used in college basketball, so if Florida can grab a road win in a Big 12 venue, that would do wonders for UF’s profile. The challenge is to put together a strong game, especially in the final minutes. This team has fallen short all season long in that regard. It is hard to express confidence now. TCU 69, Florida 67.
