Florida-Auburn Prediction

The Auburn Tigers don’t have a problem winning games at home. Their problem has been winning on the road. Florida is certainly worth taking seriously, though: Mike White’s team has been competitive all season long. The Gators’ weakness has been the last five to eight minutes of games. The Gators have played a lot of 32-to-35-minute games, but have rarely played a full 40. They run out of steam, they stop displaying patience at the offensive end of the floor, and they ultimately get overwhelmed… and they lose by a narrow margin. Florida has led Kentucky and Tennessee midway through second halves of games earlier this season. Florida played Mississippi State on even terms on the road. This team doesn’t get blown out; it is regularly in the hunt in SEC games. However, Florida can’t close the deal. Don’t expect that to change on The Plains. Auburn 78, Florida 74. (Matt Zemek)

This game tips off at 8:00 PM CT (9:00 PM ET). TV: TBA.
